Description
This dynamic angular rotation inspired a blend of shapes and geometry setting it apart from the typical square box design of most neighboring homes. The home features an inverted floor plan, consisting of four stories. The two upper floors enjoy ocean and bay views above the rooftops of neighboring beach homes. An observatory, recreation room is nestled within the tower structure on the fourth level. The main living level is on the third floor with an outdoor stone fireplace on the screen porch. Bedroom suites at this “mini-hotel” are scattered among the top three floors with a spacious owner’s suite on the second floor.
The first level is composed of the entry, parking, and beach shower/storage.
Roof forms including engaged barrel dormers and an undulating fascia line, give interest and diminish the large scale of the vertical façade, giving it unassuming cottage charm.
